ICSS-JC great 100th Anniversary Event Held (30 July 2025)
ICSS-JC (IC System Security - Japan Consortium) commemorated the 100th meeting of "ICSS-JC regular meeting" (held six times annually since 2009) by hosting the ‘ICSS-JC 100th Meeting Commemorative Special Session’ on Wednesday, 30 July 2025, at the Hirose Building in Kanda-Nishikicho, Tokyo.
The event commenced with a lecture by Mr Yasuyoshi Uemura, Representative Director of the Association (President of SCU Co., Ltd.), reflecting on ICSS-JC's 16-year journey since its inception and sharing numerous anecdotes from its activities. After that, Mr Shinji Sato of the Cyber-Physical Security Research Department (CPSEC) Security Assurance Scheme Research Group, and Mr Kenji Hirao from the Technical Evaluation Department, Security Centre, Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan (IPA) delivered commemorative lectures. A talk event reviewing past activities was also held, where new and old members engaged in lively and endless conversation.

About 30 attendees, primarily ICSS-JC members, participated in person on the day, celebrating this milestone and acknowledging each other's efforts thus far. Following the meeting, a casual networking reception was held at a "Charcoal Grill Pub", where glasses were raised toasting ICSS-JC's experiences and future prospects.
