ICSS-JC(CC Evaluation and Certification Subcommittee established within ICSS-RT) is the center for applying ISO/IEC 15408-based security evaluation and certification to IC cards and semiconductor chips in Japan, and is a leader in security assurance technology in this field. Also ICSS-JC has been in constant communication with similar counterparts overseas.
In recent years, the concept of “IC systems” has expanded from IC card applications to new areas utilizing embedded devices, IoT, and AI, and security requirements have evolved. In response, we aim to contribute to the safety and security of society as a whole by taking on the challenge of a wider range of hardware security fields based on IC card technology.
Activities
Basically, we will discuss how security assurance should be provided.
In the event of a sudden major security incident, we will act promptly from the perspective of maintaining social systems, formulate appropriate countermeasures, and make recommendations to the relevant organizations.
